Beverly Hills Cop
Blues Brothers
The Austin Powers movies
Blazing Saddles
Young Frankenstein
Monty Python and the Holy Grail
National Lampoon's Vacation
Beetlejuice
Bruce Almighty

Forgot all about Blazing Saddles,Stripes and Austin Powers.

I actually still get a chuckle out of Beverly Hills Cop I and II.hard to imagine them as vehicles originally intended for Sylvester Stallone isnt it?

I couldn't imagine these movies with Stallone. I'm so glad they went with Eddie instead!

Army of darkness is a fun,fun movie. I love anything with Bruce Campbell in it.

that was because Dan Akroyd advised him to pass on Ghostbusters because BHC would be his own vehicle.Reitmans first choice for Winston was Murphy.

original Ghostbuters draft cast

John Belushi-Peter Venkman
Dan Ackroyd-Ray Stanz
Harold Ramis-Egon Spengler
Eddie Murphy-Winston Zeddmore
Bill Murray-Walter Peck
Teri Garr-Janine Melnitz(originally conceived as a much different character)
John Candy-Louis Tully(Candy insisted Tully own two large German shepards-Reitman disagreed with the hellhounds being present in the script already.)

both Garr and Candy appear in the Ray Park Ghostbusters music video too

the BHC script wasnt violent enough for Stallone and the rewrite he submitted was rejected by the studio.it became Cobra and BHC was made more comedy when Murphy became available Wink

interestingly both Ghostbuters and BHC are the 1# and 2# movies $$$ wise for 84

JokerFcs movie trivia for the day!!!

Planes, Trains and Automobiles is great. So is Uncle Buck. John Candy was such a an outstanding comedic actor.
